The Triad system combines the versatility and power of a high-end multi-frequency system with ultra-easy usability that is truly different. The screen displays line direction, or sonde orientation, and continuous depth reading (when over target).

The Triad receiver operates with any continuous active transmitter frequency ranging from low (512 Hz) up to frequencies as high as 200 kHz. It automatically scans and tunes to active frequencies, or it can be tuned at your discretion. The audio/visual interface is intuitive and straightforward, whether tracing pipes/cables or locating mini transmitters (sondes). The receiver includes features usually found only in high-end locators, such as automatic depth read-out, constant numerical response, search direction indicators, and 60-Hz passive-mode locating. The receiver also offers features you wont find in other locators, like single-trigger control, automatic gain and automatic setup. The physical packaging of the receiver is lightweight and ergonomically well balanced, allowing you to work comfortably for long periods of time.

The transmitter has dual output jacks that allow you to trace two utilities simultaneously with different frequencies. With Goldaks patented antenna and audio/RF inductive frequencies from 8 KHz to 200 KHz, the transmitter outperforms all others when tracing inductively. Conductive frequencies are available from 512 Hz to 200 KHz. The transmitter provides up to 10 watts of conductive output power on demand (with optional power adapters).

When the job is done, the receiver folds neatly for compact storage. When stored together, the Triad receiver and transmitter form a compact and rugged briefcase unit that measures 24"W x 12"H x 4-1/2"D.
